I once tried this budget airline because i wanted to experience this whole budget thing. My travel agency advised me to buy insurance for my baggage in case of anything. The extra $30 looked too ‘expensive’ that time so i passed. And guess what? My bags got opened while i’m probably dozing off at the departure hall and luckily i did not lose anything valuable. So from that day onwards, insurance does mean something to me.

I do understand a parent’s concern when they deny their 16 year old son of a credit card. Doesn’t matter if it is only a supplementary card because it is, still a credit card. I have to admit that the new generation really has little value of money. Overspending is a norm and in fact, people spend even faster than they could earn! That’s why i’m really not surprised to see bad credit debts piling up and so many people going bankrupt. Furthermore, banks are now more than happy to issue you new credit cards. Afterall they are the ones who profit like crazy from the interest charged if you’re unable to pay back within certain period of time.

You really can’t deny that times are getting bad now. High interest rates meaning you need to pay way higher for your mortgages. Do a simple count. How many mortgages or loans you are paying now? Housing loan, car loan(s), education loans? And on top of that, the mortgage and credit marking is now really shaky. How many of you weren’t shaken by the Northern Rock issue?

It all happened a few months ago when Guy Kawasaki, one of the original Apple fellows decided that he wanted to integrate text messaging functionality into his latest internet startup-Truemors.com. Guy has a really large vision for Truemors.com. He wants to make it a ‘super-blog’ where users could post rumors, factoids, and other “relevant tidbits†via a variety of formats – SMS, voice calling, email, and traditional web forms. Guy approached Golive! Mobile, which is focused on enabling sms marketing projects and other forms of mobile marketing. So now Golive! is in charge of handling the SMS blog posting. A company called SpinVox handled the voice posting, and Guy’s own development team handled the email and web form posting.

Well don’t get me wrong because i was certainly referring to the one that many modern males have failed to achieve. The spirit just isn’t there anymore and with all this comfort living, DIY is really slowly fading out. When was the last time that instead of changing the lightbulb yourself , you conveniently called an electrician? Wherever did that curious male mind gone to?

I have already eyeing some of the must watch TV shows that will premiere this fall in the US. No need to make any introductions about Prison Break and Heroes but one new show that i would like to mention is Gossip Girl which is based on the popular novel series by Cecily von Ziegesar. When people hear about the word Gossip, nostrils flare and you can see the pupils dilate. Guys and gals alike, we all love gossip. I used to gossip every now and then on this blog but then i guess the infrequent bitchiness release *gasp* of a guy won’t do me any good. So i decided to stop
But nevertheless, in reality gossip blogs thrive much better than most of the blogs out there. The dirtiest and raunchiest secrets that people would pay to read. For fun. Don’t tell me you weren’t EAGER to watch the so-called Eva Longoria sex tape. I know you did! So see how gossip from just a blogspot can spread like a wildfire? Everyday you can have that feeling that a new scandal is hitting the town. People just want to find out how the rich and famous live their life (with a bit of spices here and there).

Aside from the financial statements and constant emphasis of true and fair view of them, i haven’t seen them much in the blogging world. So i would laud this move by HomeCamera requiring a fair and partial review on their website. Afterall i have been doing some serious thoughts on home surveillance cameras so since this opportunity pops up, i might give it a try and at the same time learn more about surveillance cams.

I’ve taken some time today to take a quick review of a UK based loan site. I love writing about loans and mortgages because that’s something that everyone’d have to face either now or somewhere in the future.

You know what’s one of the best thing to have as a student besides unlimited supply of cash? A tertiary student credit card. And i can’t thank Commonwealth Bank enough for issuing this card. Waived annual fees, 55 days before you get charged any interest, and it is basically the same as any other credit cards. Because i do a lot of online buying/selling, hence credit card is really important to me. At the same time, the cost of the credit card to me must also be low to have it kept within my budget. (I keep the limit low to prevent myself from overspending).
