New series for this fall

I only have 3 more days before this mid-sem break ends so i might as well endulge myself with all the new (and old series coming back) just this week.

Lee Hom-改變自己 Album Review

Cometh the hour, cometh the man. And yeap i have just finished listening to the whole album. Who says Lee Hom’s lost his touch? Ok i admit i got his new 改 變 自 å·± (Change Me) off torrent but i promise i’m going to buy the album when i get back to Sibu. This album’s got a new feel in it, more rnb, pop rock and more notable drum beats. Oh and listen closely and you’d find Kiss Goodbye in one of the songs.

Die Hard 4

I was never a real fan of Bruce Willis until i saw Die Hard. OMG only then i realised how good and bad ass an actor (and in real life he is. But to lose Demi to Ashton.. lmao) he is.

Michael Buble-Call Me Irresponsible

Someone once wrote that Jamie Cullum is the new Michael Buble, and the old Buble is out of the scene. Oh I could so refute that statement. How could one be singing about pricks and be the new Michael Buble?

My recent movie list

Well to be truthful, I’ve been really watching a lot of movies rather than going around Melbourne welcoming autumn and taking a few snaps here and there. Why rent (that’s cash outflow… big nono) or go to cinemas(another unnecessary great cash outflow) when you can find DVDrips? :) Ok some movies are rather hard to find, and I’m not willing to set my laptop’s rom to region 4 and then to 1 and then around and around because there’s a limit ok.

Blood Diamond: Review

Before you ask, no. Unfortunately I did not quite enjoy this excellent movie on the cinema’s big screen. Instead, I downloaded a 1.3 GB DVD screener and plugged the laptop into my plasma screen. The pictures were just as good, crisp and nice. But that’s because the movie wasnt’ released in Malaysia yet :)

24 Season 6: Welcome back Jack

**POSSIBLE SPOILER AHEAD**

It’s about time that FOX broadcasts the return of Jack Bauer in Season 6. I was literally counting my days towards 7th January 2007 when I’d get to see Jack Bauer kick some ass again.

Night at the Museum: Review

Curse of the Golden Flower: Review

The Prestige(2006): Review

In a magic act, there are three parts to it. First, there is the setup, or the “pledge”, where the magician shows the audience something that appears ordinary but is probably not, making use of misdirection. Then there is the performance, or the “turn”, where the magician makes the ordinary act extraordinary. Last, there is the “prestige”, where the effect of the illusion is produced. There are “twists and turns, where lives hang in the balance, and you see something shocking you’ve never seen before.”
