I took these pics a couple of weeks ago from Herald Sun newspaper when Spring just hit Melbourne. They were having this fashion show to welcome the spring/summer collectionWanted to upload them since but was too lazy (and damn Optus capped my internet). Nothing much really but i have been having this thought. Do they really think that people won’t notice an ounce of flab on a model, especially one with bikini? Wherever did all the good people with Photoshop go? Hello, airbrushing?

Some smart-ass said that due to global warming, summer’d be here sooner than thought. Well that smart-ass is wrong because Melbourne’s currently experiencing some freak weather. It was quite windy few days ago, very windy today, and fucking windy + cold today.

Some may not know who Mr Nobu Matsuhisa is so this is a brief introduction. I first saw his name in Times magazine a few months back when he was interviewed. Simply, he’s an international renowned celebrity chef, restaurateur, very wealthy, and a good friend of Robert DeNiro. Nobu is known for his fusion cuisine which blends traditional Japanese dishes with South American (Peruvian and Argentinian) ingredients. His signature dish is black cod in miso. He was also the pioneer of soft shell crab and shrimp tempura rolls, both attempts to please the western palate. He’s the executive chef of Nobu New York. The success of Nobu New York spawned several similarly themed restaurants in Malibu, London, and Tokyo. Some of you might have seen him in Austin Powers in Goldmember as the Japanese business man “Mr. Roboto”

I think this is a fairly new subject that’s been introduced in Melbourne Uni. And i’ve been waiting for like so long to do it (hopefully won’t turn out to be a flop) since it’s only offered in Semester 2.

It kept me anxious for roughly 2 weeks. Exam itself took me about a month or so for preparation. One thing i realised when during a prematurely early preparation for your final exams is that, you tend to slack towards the exam.

W0ot! My winter vacation officially started on 21st June 2007,4.30 pm actually. It feels just awesome to have a month of holiday doing ANYTHING you like. Not going back to Malaysia this time so i guess i’d be spending more time blogging and recoup some of those many expenses

Santos Bonacci may be familiar to those who frequent Bourke Street in Melbourne often. These buskers who often perform at the corner of Bourke Street (near Myer and David Jones) always gain a large crowd. I saw them performing 2 weeks ago and decided to go closer.
