Tonight was rather fun. I didn’t have to cook dinner that is. Auntie called me over for a simple but wonderful home cooked dinner. We had a combination of Foochow, Teochew, Australian, Malay, and Greek?!! food. I thought it was weird at first, but the rice was perfectly fine if you eat it with ‘five spices pork ribs’, the black soup with like 8 spices in it.. can’t remember what it’s called, then some damn good sambal, zucchinis(don’t know how she made it, but it tastes good), and the Greek dish… i can’t remember the name either. I was like focusing 100% on the food and i didn’t bother to take any pics on the food either I don’t mind starting every night like that. :)Melbourne’s experiencing another of its crazy mild heat wave today (to me). Started to get some heat rash on my back. It was really cool and windy at night so i decided to go to Lygon St with Josh for a cuppa coffee. We decided to try this cafe that serves Latin American coffee and tea. It looked pretty decent for a place for two people to chat about making your first million at 35, retiring at mid-40, and decide where you want to settle down after that.

When i first got my principles of macroeconomics textbook, i looked at the authors. I thought the name looked familiar. But you know.. all the ‘mat sallehs’ have like almost the same family names so i decided to ignore it.

This video’s to my idol Thierry Henry whom i’ve supported since 1998. Yeah, i can throw a party in 2 years time to celebrate the 10 years anniversary. Don’t ask me to describe him. Because i can’t. All he has, is simply skills, magic, talent, and sheer brilliance. And no, don’t compare him to Ronaldinho or err… i can’t name any other footballers who cross my mind when i speak about Thierry Henry.

Yes, i’m so so so disappointed that i couldn’t make it to today’s badminton match. Not a really exciting one i reckon, it’s Malaysia vs Northern Island i think. Had to sit for my business law test instead (glad it was alright). But my cousin and friends went … and they took photos with the badminton team!! Arrgh! I’m like a really big fan of badminton, and i’d really like to meet the players. They might not be up against like the best players today, but hey, it’s the atmosphere that counts! My cousin was already printing the Malaysian flag last night

I missed this part of the Melbourne Commonwealth Games opening ceremony on TV (yeah, like i mentioned, AU$400++ was really too dear for me) where Delta Goodrem sang the err… i think it’s one of the theme for the Games or something. I thought the song’s really meaningful, and it’s got a good tune too. So thanks to Bittorrent,
i managed to find this video which was ripped off Channel 9 (by some guy). Just in case some of you guys missed it too.
