Jay Chou singing cantonese song?

I was looking for the 霍元甲(Fearless) soundtracks in Google and i came across this song which was featured in his 霍元甲 EP album too. The title’s 献世 and it’s a live version. Anyone can tell me what’s this title’s pinyin?

Underworld: Evolution review

I wrote with enthusiasm that Underworld:Evolution would be one of my most awaited films in 2006. I watched the trailer and i thought the movie was awesome. Kate Beckinsale looked so hot in it alright.. (no i don’t have a fetish for women in tight black leather). I know those deep blue eyes were fake.. it’s contact lenses.. but still… she has so much sex appeal surrounding her :D

Jet Li in Fearless (???)

I have to admit that the main reason i wanted to watch this movie was because the film’s soundtrack was written by Jay Chou. I saw the MV last night (and again this morning) and i thought “If this song were to be played during a duel, it’d be awesome”.

Ushering the new year

Howdy folks, it’s been almost a month since i wrote my previous post. I’m all full and ‘burpy’ after the reunion dinner (hmm.. just me and my parents and siblings-not celebrating CNY since my grandfather’s passing hasn’t reach one year.Chinese customs). And i’ve been eating too much since i came back. Well… might as well just eat one year’s supply and bring it down to Melbourne. Just wait for it to deplete :D

That Hokkien song ar…

I never had a fancy for hokkien songs until i heard this one (my dad particularly likes this one). Heard it during a wedding reception i think, and i’ve been trying to download it. (Then curi-curi change my dad’s ringtone) :D

Jay Chou- ???(Fearless) theme song

Jay Chou’s dreams came true when sometime back in Nov/Dec last year, he was chosen to write the theme song for Jet Li’s new upcoming movie: Fearless (???) or pronounced as ‘Huo4 Yuan2 Jia3′ (presumably his last kung-fu flick. The film’s about the Chinese martial arts Master Huo Yuanjia (1869-1910)

First time winner: The Star’s citizen blog

Wow, i won that 50 bucks. That was yesterday’s news. For those who read The Star, you’d know that there’s this new section: the citizen’s blog.

Old liquor for sale

Everytime i drink (liquor or beer), those itchy, irritating rashes start to develop. So i’d seek my good friends’ help. Sometimes Clarityne (too mild now), sometimes Telfast. But the rashes don’t go away. 2 weeks max. So i’ve been refraining from partaking any alcoholic drinks for a long time.

Of old and new things

My dad told me a story the other day. About how he spent his childhood. (I quickly tucked the ipod into my pockets). He told me fearsome stories about how he flew kites barefooted while jumping from rooftops to rooftops, how to catch and boil(yes, literally) the hmm.. that black, slimey fish you catch in the drain..snakefish? And how you shave(as in using a razor) the comb and that red piece of thing hanging under the beak of a fighting cock so that the cock looks more handsome. And for miraculous healing, just apply some ashes. Then he told me how he used to fish at the banks of the mighty Rejang River to feed his pet eagle. (I couldn’t even get my parents’ approval to have a pet Rottweiler!!). He said the waters back then were so clear you could see the fishes swimming around and you can also see mermaids dancing.

I’d write something

…for the sake of writing. I’m a happy guy now and i won’t say why :)
